I'm 82 and have had serious skin cancers for many years, some requiring MOHS surgery. Her skills have greatly improved my condition. She also treated cellulitis infection on my lower legs and spotted an abscess on the bottom of my foot that another doctor had seen but said nothing. "Go to Marin General and get an IV of antibiotic. This looks serious." In fact, this infection required surgery by a vascular surgeon, removal of 2 cm of bone, and a stay of 9 days until my white blood cell count registered normal. I greatly admire Dr. Bandt's professionalism and her office staff is terrific. I highly recommend her to anyone suffering from skin cancer and other skin infections.

I've been seeing Doctor Bandt for 20 years, ever since she removed a basal cell carcinoma from my face. Since then she has removed several other skin cancers, including one on my eyelid, in a way that avoided unnecessary tissue excision, left the skin looking essentially normal, but avoided any recurrence of any carcinoma. Practice does make perfect! Your skills as a surgeon, friendly approach, and down to earth attitude about doing only what is necessary has made all the difference for me with this minor, but challenging surgical removal of the very large fatty tumor on my shoulder. No port, no drugs, no 4-6 weeks in a compression bra – just 2 days of a compression bandage, no drainage so far, and I can now shower! Your staff were just so wonderful and friendly as well. This was the most pleasant surgical experience I have ever had – including my recovery so far!
